Influencer and lifestyle journalist visits Bay Gardens Resorts British Fashion and Interior Design television presenter, columnist and mum of two, Naomi Isted chose to holiday with her family at Bay Gardens Resorts in St Lucia over the Easter break. The hotel is fabulous for families and the family loved their break on the island staying at Bay Gardens. We caught up with her to ask her thoughts about the resort. Why did you choose Bay Gardens? Because we had been before and firstly the kids loved the waterpark, we love the beach and also the fact the hotel is fairly small and personable. We don’t like big hotels and feel the kids are super safe here. What are the facilities like for families? The gym is great, never busy. The beach and setting is amazing, so easy to walk in and out of Rodney Bay, so the hotel is great as its close to everything but at the same time feels boutique. It’s not that big and everyone is so friendly. Our morning server always remembered what we wanted for drinks and at lunch. The kids also loved the evening entertainment. Most importantly the kids adore the waterpark and that has kept them entertained for hours. What was your favourite thing about the resort? The views/ beach and general vibe. Even when the hotel is at full capacity it doesn’t feel like it. Would you recommend it to other families? Definitely it’s a lovely size of hotel and for me my biggest concern is how safe the location is for the kids. The kids would roam around freely and get drinks from the bar or restaurant, pop to the room etc. What do you love about St Lucia as an island? We adore the landscape, the people, the food and the weather. Would you go again? We are hoping to go back later this year or next again.
