Set along a sandy beach, this upmarket resort is 6 km from snorkeling at Smiths Reef and 4 km from horse rides at the Provo Ponies stable.
The chic studios and 1- to 3-bedroom suites offer free Wi-Fi, cable TV and balconies, plus sitting areas, kitchens, and tea and coffeemaking facilities.
Freebies include welcome drinks and loaner bikes. Other amenities consist of a restaurant, direct access to the beach and a spa, plus 4 outdoor pools, a tennis court and a gym. It is the amazing guests I meet and have long standing friendships with that extends to generations of their families. Also building a team of passionate and caring staff, who have been a part of The Sands family for years. The Sands is such a family environment we even have staff family member/s work at The Sands too. We have seen them grow up from babies to adults, they are a part of our growing family.

They are very caring and take the time to remember our guests needs and deliver to those. Guests who come back year after year ask for specific staff by name during their stay. Our team truly love their jobs and enjoy taking care of the guest.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL ARE THE ‘’STAND OUT’’ POINTS TO THE HOTEL?
We are known for offering a great value. Keeping rates competitive without adding in extras to drive the rate up. We have an ideal location, walking distance to shops and dining. We are on a large stretch of Grace Bay Beach, one of the most ideal beach locations in Providenciales. Our gardens are well established and lush, often receiving many praises. And lastly, our rooms offer everything in comfort and convenience. Junior suites stocked with plateware, glassware, flatware some with a washer & dryer, and our one-two and two +den with full kitchens is often in demand for couples and families are stocked with kitchen essentials. Most importantly guest love the screened in porch/balcony.

A personal tip on the best thing to experience in the destination
My favourite pastime is to take the Fast Ferry into North and Middle Caicos, a quick and easy 25 minute trip. Rent a car and explore the islands, visit Flamingo Pond, the Indian Cave, Mudjin Harbor and picnic on Bambarra Beach. The geographical landscape is incredible from beaches, to ruins, caves and cliffs. Sights to truly appreciate the Islands, and during January through early April you may be able to spot whales migrating north. I did!
